powdercoating vs. painting (engine parts)
Just wanted to get some info on these different processes. I was wanting to repaint or powdercoat intake pipes and valve covers on my 1jz. Any suggestions? Please post pics of both processes if you have them.

It depends on the look that you are going for. Polished looks nice, but I personally like the look of a flat black on hardpipes. That's just my personal opinion though.

ya by machine comes out nice when it is done right. powder coating is nice also less maintence and it stay's shiney longer. polish if not taking care of gets dull after time. ya i have seen a powder coating finish and it looks really close to polish
