Header Install On Sc400 Question?
Hello people - I humbly ask you all a question on installing the S&S Headers on my 1992 lexus SC400. Here is the question the S&S headers are paid for and have been shipped, ($600) I went and tried to get to all the stock header bolts using a standard wrench, socket , and adjustable ratchet. I was successful with the passenger side header, however the driverside is slightly more challenging. I have big hands and cannot reach those bolts with my conventional tools.
Now I have read many posts on header installs, some say the engine needs removing and others say you do not need to lift the engine. I need info from someone with hands on experience to advise me on how to access those bolts and remove the stock header on the driver side without lifting the engine out. Anyone??
I would really prefer not to lift the engine, besides my engine jack stand is pre-occupied at the moment. Anyone? Please no cheap shots, I took far too much abuse for any one man to take on my last post. Thanks
John
