SC300 / 1JZ 5 Speed not running
If anyone has had this problem or heard of it please help. When the car is cold it starts up fine and I'm able to drive it around the block once, all of a sudden it starts to hesitae and misfire then shuts off. sometimes I could start it right back and sometime it sounds like its flooded. When it does start back as I take my foot offf the clutch the car shuts off. I've changed the coil packs the fuel pump the map sensor the ECU and also the temperature switch.
If you can help please do.

Check the obivious spots? Plugs? Fuel Filter? Faulty Fuel Pump? There are plenty of other little things, but start there.

If it's a fuel problem, take it for a spin, wait for it to stall and get the rail pressure. Could be the pump is giving up once it gets hot.

Hey guy's thanks I fixed the problem. I took the wire harness back out of the car and checked it for cracks and sure enough I found one.
