Yes, I searched, but maybe not hard enough. I didn't get much info from them. I am trying to find the ideal location for cabin access to the engine bay (mainly for guages). Can you guys share some photos of where you ran your wires from the engine bay to the cabin? Did you pull out a grommet or drill thru? Thanks!

hahahaha, SC's do suck in one way or another. I gave up looking and just ran my harnesses and vacuum lines (boost controller) through the main harness (ecu to motor) I just fished it through with a hanger and some electrical tape.

You could try the grommet to the upper left of the driver foot rest/dead pedal area. It would proabably allow some vaccum tubing and minimals wires through. I used it for my 0 gauge amp wire and ran it up the fender well and out right next to where the clutch master cylinder would be on a 5speed. All you have to do is remove the rear area of the firewall and there you will see 2 usable grommet areas to poke through and you can decide if you want to run the wires and vacuum hose over the fender and out the washer refill area or the easier clutch master cylinder area.

eek. I would rather not run wires thru the fender unless you can show me how with a few pix?

there is a grommet on the passenger side firewall by the ac evap drain. It is still very difficult to get wires throuch because of material on the other side. I drilled a hole from the inside through the material and above the ecu. Look at my pic. It is above where the firewall bends.

I am wondering thw same exact thing... how da hell did people the boost gauge all the way into the cupholder?

the same way they put them in their center console or pillar? whats so difficult about putting it in the cup holder or anywhere else in the car?

Just pull some of the stuff under the dash out and you'll discover all kinds of ways through the firewall. Just remember how to put it all back

I just drilled a hole right by where the throttle cable enteres the cabin.

I would never put wires where the steering ahft goes. or any part that constantly moves.

It doesnt move... the boot itself doesnt move... i'm not talking about placing the wires near the shaft, the boot itself is a lot larger than the steering shaft is.... poke a hole through with a small knife and run them through that way. I've done this on 3 different turbocars that I owned and never had any trouble AND its pretty common to use that position on a multitude of cars
