Default Resonators or no?

I just got Rod Millen motorsport exhaust for my 95' SC400 and was wondering what you think I should do or what you would do...... Leave the resonators on? remove some? take them all off? by the way.... how many resonators does the 95' SC400 have? I counted 4...... I might be way off though because it was night... thanks!

Take them off. Umm my '92 SC4 had 3 cats and 2 resonators I think . When I did my exhaust I removed both resonators and put new 2.25in piping with magnaflow 14829's on it. Loved the sound!

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

my exhaust just goes back to the cats.... and I REALLY wanna avoid that raspy sound at upper RPMs so thats why I worry about taking all the resonators off... thanks! oh and my new exhaust is 2.5" piping.

Even with the resonators off, my exhuast isn't loud enough.
I get a throtty V8 sound from 2500 - 3500, but beyond that it sound just like stock at high speed.

sounds the best w/ straight pipe from the turbo --< 2 mufflers in the rear
seriously ditch the resonators - the cats quiet it enough
it will only be lil louder when your leaning into the pedal - stock when cruising

How would my STOCK exhaust sound if I ONLY removed the two rear resonators and replace them with a straight pipe?

How loud? Raspy? Perfect? Idling problems? Any negatives? HELP!

Remember, I have an 97 SC300

hmmm.... not too sure with the 300 but, when I put my RMM exhaust on it got louder when I removed the rear resonators(only ones we could find) and it sounds VERY clean. I would PM an expierenced SC300 guy to be honest because I'm not one good luck man!

the 400 has 2 resonators and 3 cats. the to rearmost canisters(not counting the mufflres) are the resonators. the car will be louder but it will still sound nice. just thank God its not a honda, so dont worry about it sounding buzzy. if i had to compare it i would say almost like a mustang.
