Default NA mods, Xerd headers?

Just wanted to know anyone's expirience with Xerd headers on their SC. Do they really give the 17-18hp they claim? If so it seems like a good deal.
Also would you guys reccomend a SAFC2 on a NA SC? What kind of gains should I expect with a BFI and exhaust?

I don't plan on turboing my SC (I'd rather deposit it in my slowly growing Supra account) and just want a reliable daily driver with a little more oomf.

yeah it prolly does, considering it eliminates your cats, SAFC2 would be good, but you should get it when you have all the mods you wanted on your engine, so you can get that thing tuned

Yeah I'm thinking some good NA mods are:

Flex-A Lite Fan replacement (adds supposedly 10HP because it takes the fan out of the drive belt)
BFI (Of Course)
Xerd or NAperformance.com headers
SAFC2 would be good for any SC, always adds a little power.

10hp seems a little high with flex-a-lites. The supraforum guys suggest AAP fans instead, better cooling and less draw but the're $350

If Xerd headers just eliminate cats, if I took mine out myself would I see similar gains?

Thats just what I've read. I'd imagine it would definately help, probabaly everything combined would be the best bet overall.

hey just look on intellexual.net he has a little section about the flex-a lite fan and says its good for more like 20hp. and if u think of all the air that thing has to pull at iddle to keep the car cool in stop and go traffic. imagine what it is doing at 6k rpm. i bet you would get atleast 10hp out of it with an electric fan.
