Swaping r154 tranny into sc300 would require
r154 tranny from a soarer or supra
1jz bellhousing
custom driveshaft
Is that everything or did i miss something ??????
and would you have regear you rearend to match your tranny ??????

Hey bro,
I'm currently doing some research and trying to save for the R154 conversion myself (labour to fix up my current auto is going to cost around $3000~$3300, manual conversion is around $4000~$4500 including new clutch and upgraded pressure plate, and I don't think I'll be happy with an auto after spending so much on it - oh.. the prices are in AUD). What I've found for a full conversion from auto to manual (in a JZZ30 anyway) includes...
* R154 manual transmission
* Clutch pedal assembly (including pedal switch and master cylinder)
* Master to slave cylinder hydraulic line hard line
* Slave cylinder (plus flexible hydraulic hose and hydraulic hard pipe)
* Shift fork
* Spigot bearing
* Flywheel with ring gear
* Clutch and pressure plate with thrust washer
* Soarer specific R154 shifter mechanism
* Lengthened tailshaft (if you can't come across a genuine Soarer m/t tailshaft)
* m/t crossmember and gearbox mount
* Tunnel rubber boots and insulators
* Interior stuff (centre console surround, gearshift boot and gearknob)
* M/T ECU (JZZ30 auto ECU will also work)
Custom wiring needed for bypassing neutral start switch, clutch cruise cancellation interface, park lock switch and 2nd speed sensor emulator.
Hope that helps
