if your clip doesn't have one of the small side mount intercoolers, you should be able to pick up one of those ebay special FMIC kits... think there like $300ish or so ... I don't visit ebay often so not sure on the cost.

Sorry to revive this thread but does anyone have the wiring info that Vududoc provided?

I'm assuming not much needs to be done when swapping the soarer 1jz vvti compared to the more common chaser one? Should be mostly plug and play and some extending right?

If its a Soarer swap you will have to move some pins around...on the body plugs.

Chaser swap is more of a pita..Thats actually what I bought a few years ago.

Now I’m gonna be that guy that revives it a third time...
Can anyone elaborate on this whole gen 1 / 2 thing? I have a gen 2 motor and a 92 SC. Is it really true that all I have to do is extend the 40+ wires to extend the wiring harness?

Are all the plugs the same? In other words will they all fit and plug into the necessary receiving plugs?

What if anything needs to be changed with the body plug?

My rear harness for the auto trans was cut, I’m assuming one of those wires is for the speedo, can anyone point me to a diagram that will tell me or simply tell me which wire?

Lastly my car is factory manual so what do I need to do if anything to eliminate the auto portion of the ecu? Is it a wire you cut or just eff it and run it as is?

Thanks ahead of time any and all help is very much appreciated!!!
