Opinions on the H.V.S.
Hey Fellas,
In my endless search of easily harnessable power, I came across the Hyper Voltage System made by Sun.
http://www.sunautomobile.com/>>>PRODUCTS>>>Hyper Votage System
Now, I'm no sucker, and I could draw a nice before&after dyno graph myself.
I did however talk to one guy who tried this on a NA-T supra and he says he felt a pretty good difference, especially in throttle response and at WOT.
My best guess is that this is just a Capacitor similar to those used in Car Audio to feed the amplifiers the power they need at the punch.
If it is a capacitor, I can also understand where the better throttle response is coming from (better spark due to less resistance)
Only thing that's bugging me is that they have a LR, HR, and MR model of this thing.
Supposedly LR is for Lower RPM "City Driving", HR is High RPM "For Racing", and MR works at any RPM.
Now we all know a capacitor is a capacitor, no matter what the RPM is, so this to me seems like total BS.
Let me know what you guys think about this.
I may just try this out for ****s&giggles.
If I do this mod, I'm doing it a a dyno, between runs so I can give you actual true results.
Cheers,
~Alan

i have purchased one of these units-(just a different brand). it definetely works!!... the car definately feels a little more "torquey" and somewhat smoother than before( if that's even possible). the owners with civics and integra's seem to feel more of a difference though... (according to my old mechanic). is it worth the purchase? well, it does offer some sort of performance gain you can "feel"
