Question What do I need to get a sc300 into the low 14's

hey, i am brand new to the forums and am about to buy a 95 sc300 5sp, black on black. i love the style of the car and its potential, but i need speed. Is there anyway to get the car that fast and keep it natural, or will i need boost. i'm not against boost, i just don't know if i can afford it, and everything else i want, lowered, kit, rims, etc. also, there are the reliablity concerns, how does this engine hold up to boost, and what psi can i run on a daily driver? Sorry for all the questions, just looking for a little help and maybe a point in the right direction

thanks

bryan

welcome, to get the sc3 into the low 14's IMO i would upgrade the LSD, drop on good size rims and tires, and i heard if you change the exhaust side of the camsporcket you can get up to 10-15hp. turbonetics has a turbo kit for the sc3. NOS would be a top choice. you may want to check out www.i-m-racing.com and look at their sc section. or you can just get a 1jz swap which gonna cost about 3-5 G and you hit low 14 for sure with that. i think a motor swap would be the top choice why spend money on a turbo kit when you can get a new TURBO motor for about the same price.

if i bought this setup, what else would i need for the swap, if this is all inclusive, this seems like a crazy deal. any opinions?
