you have an SC4. It will not drop into your car.

it can be single turbo

huge gains can be had

ECU can be had from ebay japan or JDM engine dealers

It doesn't drop right in

wiring is very difficult

whoever told you taht 1JZ will drop into SC4 engine bay is wrong.

iv herd that 1jz works better with a sc300, and 2j works better with sc400. but that dosent mean that it will be easy, the swaps are the furthest thing from.

This is probably the worst revival of a 7 year old dead thread in the history of the forum. That claim is completely unsubstantiated.

There is a wealth of information available on this forum in terms of the differences between the 2 engines as well as the differences between the 2 cars. Either car can be swapped with either engine. Outside of the drivetrain the other big difference is are the brakes, which are also easily upgradable with anything available from the supra, including the stock brakes which bolt right on and are a huge improvement over stock.

uh...welcome to the forum?

I think it's very funny how the mindset has changed over the past 7 years. Now a 1J swap is easy, straight forward and now "played out" as some people think.
