Default How much should I offer the dealer on this NX?

Thinking of just walking in and just buying this that's sitting on their inventory

http://www.lexusstevenscreek.com/Veh...-CA/2520447993

Options
- WIRELESS CHARGER
- F SPORT BLACK, F-SPORT SYNTHETIC LEATHER SEAT TRIM
- ELECTROCHROMIC INSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR
- F SPORT PACKAGE W/SUMMER TIRES
- NAVIGATION SYSTEM PACKAGE
- ELECTROCHROMIC MIRROR W/BSM AND MEMORY
- INTUITIVE PARKING ASSIST
- POWER BACK DOOR
- F SPORT PREMIUM PACKAGE
- PERFORATED LEATHER TRIMMED STEERING WHEEL

They are asking for $44053.

I'm reading anywhere from $2000 under MSRP ($42053) or 6% under MSRP ($41409) on the forums.

you sure it's just "sitting" there? I think cars are listed even if they're allocated to someone. When I got mine, I could see it on the dealer site for a while before it dropped off.

That's pretty much the exact same setup I have but in Nebula Gray. I got my dealer down to 42k OTD with some hard negotiating back in March and it also helped that I traded in a mint 2IS.

You have room to work as long as that NX isn't spoken for, IMO.

Tony, OTD as in, including destination, whatever fees they added, tax?

Or is that the price not including tax minus your trade in value?

Sorry for the confusion, OTD I thought means "exactly the amount of money out the door"

That is correct, I negotiated the sale price to be 42k which included all fees. I then told them I had a trade in after everything was agreed upon on the NX.

So 42k minus my trade in value - hopefully I made that clear.

Yes it was. I also failed to mention that we got my father in law into an LS F Sport at the same time. I'm sure that was extra incentive for the dealership.

I was offered 6% below MSRP in SoCal over the phone. Went to the dealership and got down to 8% off MSRP. I think the total OTD would be pretty close to MSRP. I am used to getting about 12-13% off MSRP, but the NX is a new model so 8% off may be the average for L.A.

Default Price of NX

I got my dealer to come off the MSRP $1853 and still got $2000 higher on my trade in than two other dealers in the area. Tampa Bay
