Thumbs up Packages Canada (UPDATED Pricing Now Available)

We will get two models UX200 and UX250h AWD.

There will be the following packages

Premium
Luxury
F Sport Series 1
F Sport Series 2

I inquired about the F Sport and was disappointed to know that the UX 200 can only be optioned with the F Sport Series 1 package. This is a bare bones F Sport cosmetic package on top of the Premium package which I didn't see but I'm guessing has the heated steering, BSM, and sunroof. The Series 2 package adds the triple LED lights, 10.3" screen/NAV, Enform 1 yr subscription, memory seats/steering/mirrors, reverse-tilting mirrors, premium sound (8 speakers), hands free power hatch, park assist, ventilated seats, garage door opener, wireless charging, auto dimming mirrors, and yes HUD.

The Luxury is similar to the F Sport Series 2, but with the Washi textured dash.

What we don't get: 360 cam and AVS. Not sure about power-folding mirrors nor leather seating as it may not be available.

In terms of color options, pleasantly surprised on the exterior AND interior color choices. Black, red, and white interior is available on F Sport, depending on ext color. Non F Sport, black, birch, and caramel.

Pricing: Based on competition and NX+RX pricing, my guesstimates below:

UX200 $37K
UX250h $41K

Premium $3K
Luxury $9K
F Sport Series 1 $5K
F Sport Series 2 $10K

We should have official pricing end of Oct/early Nov.

****UPDATE Nov 2: Pricing now online. https://www.lexus.ca/lexus/en/automobiles/ux *****

So my understanding is that in Canada you would have to get the hybrid in order to get the F-Sport Series 2 options? I'm hoping N.Amer are packaged different since we never had the Series 1 or 2. The lack of navi, power tailgate, etc could be a deal breaker. Australian versions are available with EVERYTHING including AVS, ML audio and smart key card and appears triple-beam lights are standard on all trims. No mention of power folding mirrors.

The European version that used for press release last month, showed with auto power folding mirror. Since surround view is not coming for North America, I won't doubt if they took out the power folding mirrors all together. Just look the initial release of NX, same thing, no surround view, no power folding, etc. It make sense since the mirror housing will be slightly different for housing the camera plus the harness, why make so many variations, just to make the "none" or "all". It will probably coming either model year 2020 or 2021.

Correct, only the 250h awd gets you a top spec UX. My wife absolutely wants NAV and power reverse tilt mirrors but doesn't care for everything else including the hybrid. In the US, surely you will have more granular packages and with some a-la-carte options as I've seen over the years with RX and NX for instance. But I don't see AVS, ML, nor the 360 cam making it either in the US since Canada is typically very close in overall features to the US and vice versa.

I see the logic but the top spec NX in Canada came with the power-folding mirrors despite the lack of 360 cam. Also, if the prototype I saw was any indication, no 360 cam in the mirrors while the switch gear has auto and folding mirror symbol. So hopeful we may get the power-folding mirrors especially since everything else with the prototype matches the F Sport S2 features (HUD, 8-speaker sound, ventilated seats, etc.)

Allo Sylvain.

Yes the 2018+ has the 360 cam(and larger 10.3" screen) on your top-trim NX, but not when it came out in 2015 which I owned back then. Lexus is doing the same with the UX in N.Am cutting on some high-end options to be introduced likely at a mid-cycle refresh (like what was done with the NX). It's typical strategy to keep the interest of the model and to not cut into the more expensive model offerings which typically have these options already.
