OK, Back on the List

Unfortauntely it is looking like the early F-Sports are ...NOT... coming with the LED headlights. The F-Sport that was delivered to the local dealer here did not have them and it MSRP'd @ $47,600. Did you include the option code for the LEDs on yoru original order so that you could ensure yours will have them? If not you may still be able to tell before delivery if you have a vin number for your order.

I found one in Scottsdale with the LED headlights and radar cruise. Wish it was a different color but at least I know they are making them. Guess I live on the poor side of town....

We are OFF the list now. Wife prefers the ES300h due to size, quietness & being able to get the color combo's she wants (NX's do not allow gray interior at this time).
One thing that "bugged" me about the sales rep we spoke with is that he stated flat out that "the collision avoidance/radar" is CUSTOM order ONLY when in fact... dealerships ARE getting them. In addition, he tried to tell me that "the Luxury package comes with the LED headlights like the ones that are on the RCF". He even showed us the L-shaped ones on the RCF on the floor to indicate that the Luxury package INCLUDED those L-shaped which would be different than the 3 LEDs in a row that are part of that $1,160 option. He's obviously mistaken but not worth arguing about. Not certain this sale rep is as knowledgable as he thinks he is but our prior prior rep had quit so we got this guy. What's funny is that I told the GM that we wanted someone who had been with the dealership for a while & he gave us this guy. Turns out this guy has only been there a bit under 2 years so..not REALLY a senior guy in my opinion. For future drama in our case, tune into the ESHybrid discussion.
It's been fun and thanks for all the FISH!!!!

Back to Lexus I go. The back seat did have more room and felt wider too. The cargo area was fine. I was however disappointed in the 2.0 turbo. It is a rough idler. In drive not so much but in neutral you could feel it shaking. Since Lexus is new to this turbo 4 game I think they have some learning to do still.
Maybe the engine needs to be broken in? Not sure? or maybe the gas used was not good. Who knows?
Try another NX and compare.
