+1 on the Covercraft UVS100, first used it in a former Bimmer and now in the LS and NX. Very happy and will stick with it

Default Sunshades

I bought sun shades for my vehicle from quiksnap.com few week ago. It keeps my car cooler but importantly it protects the interior.

Sunshades for the Toyota RAV4 will also work perfectly for the NX (personal experience)

I have a Covercraft UVS100 as well. I've used them (or similar!) for Acura and Mercedes in the past.

Didn't go shopping, just checked on eBay and bought a Lexus Custom Fit Sunshade for the 2015-17 NX from a Lexus dealer in Scottsdale.

$26.50 for the shade plus $7.50 shipping. Took 3 days. I have no idea if that was a good price, but I was willing to pay it just prior to spending some time in the Mojave Desert region with our F-Sport.

I've used this style in my cars for years
https://www.amazon.com/Lexus-Intro-Tech-Automotive-Custom-Shield/dp/B00TYZKVU6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496767954&sr=8-1&keywords=lexus+nx+sunshade https://www.amazon.com/Lexus-Intro-Tech-Automotive-Custom-Shield/dp/B00TYZKVU6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496767954&sr=8-1&keywords=lexus+nx+sunshade
not as difficult to store as the UVS1000, and really keeps the dash much cooler than the thin collapsible ones you can store in your map pocket behind the seat.

I bought the large size and just arrived yesterday. It doesn't fit perfectly as if it was custom made for it. So after putting it up I decided to measure the windshield coverage for the NX... its roughly 55" width and 28.5" length. A medium would probably be better. I'll be getting a medium to see how much better it fits, this large will go to the RX.

Large is a loose fit.

Does not fit. Too small.

Thats why I suggested the one in my post on the bottom of first page. It fits like it was ustom made for the windshield and is one piece that swivels on the bottom. It does cost more though...

Returned those Amazon shades cause I couldn't stand the oversized look. Decided to buy a Covercraft UVS100. $50 and change.

The cover craft definitely looks best out of all of these. I'm torn between that and the heatshield brand.

https://www.autoheatshield.com/sunsh...-suv-2018.html

I believe they slightly changed the design for 2018 as the part numbers are different. I believe it has something to do with the rear view mirror and camera system.

I think the heatshield brand is more custom in that aspect even though aztr0 above posted his picture and it looks really good. On covercrafts site thought I keep seeing pictures of their sun visors that don't quite fit. I believe this is an IS... notice how it doesn't go to the edges, which defeats the purpose to me, same with Toyota.. short on the sides.... aztr0 can you post a picture from the inside of your covercraft?

The cover craft folds like an accordion while the heatshield brand rolls like a tube. Wondering which is easier to store?
I like that both give you color options which is cool. I am liking the gold color, reminds me of gold plating heatshields in racing...lol
I also included picture of the heatshield brand. Seems to completely cover entire windshield.

If you try to select a sunshade on covercraft's website, https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/pro...m-sunscreen.UV ,
UVS100 is split into:
UV11393 - Without lane departure alert
UV11556 - With lane departure alert

I wonder what the difference is and if that would account for lack of coverage in some areas.
