Thanks 15Lex. I think that is the only button I didn't try.

Lightbulb Show Us Your Custom Startup Screen Photo!

Since we are able to customize the startup image that is displayed on our nav display, let's see what you have done!

Here's one of mine:

One of my startup screen photos. By the way, my name is "Les" in case you're wondering what the message is all about.

Check out this video on how to do it.

Some other tips not mentioned in the video
  • Images that work best are sized at 800 px wide by 480 px high
  • The USB stick must be formatted as FAT or FAT32

Damn! Literally a once in a lifetime chance missed! Wished you'd posted that a day in advance.

Default Home screen with MPG and speed limit

Do you guys know how to display the speed limit of the street you're driving on along with the mpg on the home screen? I had it before but I was messing around with the layout and can't seem to get it back.

Note that the speed limit is only visible on major streets (at least in Canada).

This is how mine is setup in the Settings - Navigation...

As for the Home Screen, click the icon on the main Nav screen display to customize your Home Screen and include the fuel consumption. (See first page of this thread)

I finally decided to change the background pictures last night. I noticed for screen off image, the screen doesn't actually turn off after I select the display screen off option. Am I doing something wrong? Cause if I'm driving and I just don't want too see the screen on at night, even if I select screen off, the background image will be displayed instead... I thought it would be a screen off image that shows for a few seconds and then the screen will go black. I was waiting for at least 30 seconds and the image remained on. Is this working as intended? Thanks.

I don’t see an option to change the screen image on a 2019 w/Nav.
