So I guess Murphy has left the building and is not available to answer.

For CA folks who've made deals this month, can you confirm what amount of discount you got and what the residual and money factor is?

The folks on Edmunds state that money factor is .00085 and residual is 60% for 36/10k lease - I'm just trying to verify that.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, 1st post.

I am having a hard time getting a concrete sale using emailing. I am looking for a Used 2015 F sport in gray/red combo with nav. The one's I'm interested in are out of state.

I have found a few within the $36-39K listed price range. I have offered about $33-35K OTD, but no one is budging so far. Any tips?

I have mentioned that I am buying this weekend and first one to match my price gets my business. Since I am out of state, I would be shipping and I also have a trade in vehicle.

Any tips?

I'm not familiar with taxes and fees in your location, but it sounds like you are making unrealistic offers. Used vehicle prices are harder to pin down because you usually have no way of determining how much the dealer has invested in a particular car. Use the various vehicle pricing sites to determine market value and make a realistic offer accordingly.

Thanks for the tip, perhaps I should look into kbb and see what the value is and start my offer on the lowest range?

After looking at used prices for a while, the price differences between used and new were minimal.

Ending up paying $38,400 OTD for a 2016 with an MSRP of about 41k.

Could you give me the dealership info for this?

I'm not seeing any brand new 2016's with an MSRP below $43-44k

Thanks!

I'm tempted to wait until the 17 model comes out if they add apple carplay, then I'm sold. And by then, the 15 model should be cheaper come December.

Just went to another Lexus dealer today after going to two previous dealers to test drive the NX200t. This time this dealer had the F-Sport for me to test. I also had to test the new RX350 F-Sport and wow that is an impressive car. I was amazed after the drive and wanted to pull the trigger on the RX... however they didn't have the color I want and I wasn't sure I wanted to have that kind of car for my wife to drive when she is still green in experience.

Anyways, after many back and forth with the dealer, and constant searching for inventory, they were able to get me an ultra white / rioja red NX200t F-Sport. It is loaded with all the options available on the build site and some extra accessories, such as, illuminated sills and that sort... their MSRP was $48K and change. Luckily, I remember my sister was talking to another Lexus dealer, that I had bad experience with, and they were going to offer me $43K on the NX200t F-Sport that I built on the site (which didn't have the adaptive cruise control). I used that to my advantage and today's dealer was willing to match the $43K on a new ultra white / rioja red, we signed.

Its funny how things work out. At first I was torn between the Acura RDX 2016 Advance, and after receiving no response on the offer we made, we went straight to NX F-Sports. We intended to do a test drive on one of the CPO F-Sports that this dealer had with 14K miles... they were asking $40K. We just got a new car, the way we wanted, and more features than the CPO, for $3K more in MSRP.

July was .00090 I believe, but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes down a bit more with the last few remaining stock. I got that with a 36/12 and 60% (knocked down to .00018 with MSD). Better hope they have what you want on the floor though.
