But my friend got his 1st ticket for no front license plate when his car was parked. It was parked at the same spot for 7 years. :P

many times and now im tired of dealing with cops soo i put it back on the car.. $25 fix it but just a waste of time going to court..

yup, I was tired of getting no front plate tickets here in the city, so I finally just put it on...not worth the time wasted getting the ticket signed off etc.

they have gotten a lot stricter here in SF, and believe you me, if you take off your front plate, you'll get tagged in 2 weeks or less

I just got my first one a month ago after driving with no plate for almost 3 years. My car got ticketed when it was parked in a lot in downtown Santa Barbara. It was a $48 fine that I just paid so I wouldn't have to put my plate on.

I got one at UCSD. Campus police are dicks. I have gotten pulled over like 3 times with no front plate. Never once got a ticket, but thats in the east bay (newark/fremont).
