Wednesday Night Drag Racing at Infineon
We'll sorry for the delayed post. I asked about interest in running your car at the drag strip and also any of those who would like to come and watch, but with all the recent meet activity, I 'm only able to finalize now.
This is open to first timers of which I posted details about tips to running your car at the strip on the original thread. For additional information you can go here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=212846
For Information about Infineon and what Wednesday Night Drags is all about go here: http://www.infineonraceway.com/racew...night%5Fdrags/
I will be there to help out everyone who has any questions. This should be fun. and again read the above threads if you haven't already.
So the date will be next Wednesday, May 31st. You need to get there as early as possible in order to get as many practice runs as you can. I would suggest no later than 4:30pm.
3:00-3:30 Gates Open
3:30-4:30 People start coming in and cars start getting checked (Tech)
4:30-6:30 Timed (Practice) Runs - If you're there early, you should
get 3 practice runs in
6:30-10:00 Elimination - You're racing against an opponent and 1 racer, gets eliminated every run.
If you get eliminated, you can still get back in line for timed practice runs, but you may only get 1 or 2 since the # of losers grows throughout the night.
During the Timed Practice Runs, sometimes they allow 2 cars to run at the same time, in which case it's possible to ask them to line you up next to someone you want to go against.
That's it.
I took the day off work, so I can get there early and set up camp. Once you enter the track you can give me a call on my cell (whicjh I will provide to attendees).
Please post here if you would like to run or just attend. Depending on what time people are free or where they live, we can organize some type of caravan.
Thanks to Alann for doing this research for me.

I will come and race the GS. Never taken it to the track so why not with some fellow CL friends
Should I hook up the 75 or 150 shot

I'd love to go but I doubt I will have my intake manifold back in time. And even if I do, I still have to put in my fuel pump and program my AEM.
I might still try and come up, but It won't be in the SC

Anyway, I will probably be there helping Glen set up camp and to get launch technique tips. See you all there.
