Track Days
Greetings. I'm new and I've searched the forums thoroughly and can't find anything regarding track days. More specifically I was wondering if anyone lived in the Louisville, Ky. area knew of any track day or autocross events. I have a 1992 SC400 and my friend has a Mercedes E55 AMG, and we're tired of the constant state of the back roads in our area. We like to drive spirited but the uncertainty of on coming vehicles and ever changing road conditions throughout the seasons make it difficult and more often than not, dangerous.
We found this place but it seems like some kind of elitist, members only track.

It costs $9,900 to become a member plus $320 a month in dues.
Anyone know of a track that does race days?

Not sure if you've looked through the local section on CL. Also, check some other local car forums, there will usually be a local car forum that isint model specific, they're usually pretty good at organizing and giving the heads up on track days

Cool. Any help is appreciated. I'd even settle for autocross in a car park. I've posted on a few forums but no luck. It seems that track days in this area are few and far between. Still, I'll keep trying.
