Tesla has done something truly amazing with these cars.... I raced my buddy's P85 in my e92 m3 and man that thing is fast. Much to my surprise he beat me off the line and was about a car length ahead of me all through first. I pulled away and beat him pretty badly once i got into my second gear and caught some traction, but man was i impressed to see him beat me off the line. His tesla is and will remain stock and my e92 is supercharged. For a family sedan of that size to be able to compete with a modified sports car meant for speed is a beautiful thing.
Anyways good luck with selling the car, buddy. My friend did the same thing as you and traded in his model s for a p85 after a few months. Potential buyers be aware: I also raced my buddys model s before he traded it in, but my m3 was stock at the time. Our cars were side by side up until about 95-100 mph before i barely pulled away from him. This car is the real deal.
Just to give you guys an idea of how awesome this car is.... my buddy sold his bentley continental gt within a month after he traded in his model s and picked up his p85. He told me there was no point in having it and taking up space because hes never getting out of his tesla!
Again, good luck with selling the car OP. Truly an unparalleled machine.
