I'm selling this thing because it is too powerful for me to throw in the trunk of my Lexus and my fiancee is expecting and I don't need that type of bass with my new born in the back seat. This amplifier is extremely underrated. True wattage is around 700 watts RMS@2 ohms. The amp is no longer in production. But if you research it, you'll only hear good things about this amp. Good for a person looking to own an amp that won't clip and can power whatever speakers you through at it.
One owner stated that, "When hooked up to a "Fluke" True RMS Meter, they have been measured to put out 730 RMS watts @ 2 ohms."
Thanks for looking....
Shipping not included with this price. Preference to those in the Maryland, D.C. area, but willing to ship.

I guess I should have rephrased it since this was from another owners experience as opposed to my own. But this is the claim that the individual made. From what he states, I'm guessing that was at 2 OHMs and that Autotek underrated this thing from the factory. It wouldn't be the first time a company did that. Correction made......

Autotek used to under rate their amps when they were made by Zed Audio, for sure. Since they were bought out they are a bit more accurate on ratings these days. I only noticed just moments ago the amp is actually rated at 350 watts on the side of the amp so it is accurate wattage.
If you ever want to know what an amp puts out just use ohms law. http://www.the12volt.com/ohm/ohmslaw.asp
There is nothing that can change physics and that states a 40 amp draw is 350 watts of energy under any circumstance, no matter what you do. If the amp ever pops the 40 amp fuse, then you're pushing more than 350 watts (and burning the amp up).
Someone should jump on this amp, it is a nice looker and a strong 350 RMS.
