Fluid level
I know this post does not belong here but I could really use some help on this Issue.
If someone could check their transmisson fluid in the morning before they start up and then again the proper way and then reply to my post with where it shows on the dipstick.
I would really appreciate it. I changed my fluid and am having a hard time getting the correct amount back in it.
In the morning before I start the car it shows very high on the dipstick when it is at operating temp and running it shows at the cold mark on the dipstick.
I think the fluid should expand as it gets hot instead of contract.
thanks for and help

never check the fluid when it is cold. start the car drive around until the fluid is in normal operating temp. and then pull in on level ground and leave the idling and in neutral and then check it. The cold is for when you just start the engine and then test it, but I recommend a warm check rather than the cold.
