Question Please help-timing adjust

Hi everyone, im having some trouble with adjusting the timing on my lexus ls400-1992 model. I have just put on a new timing belt but somehow it advanced too much. does anyone know how to adjust the timing, or if it is even possible. my manual says to move the distribitor but where are the bolts that i loosen to perform the adjusting. I would greatly appreciate any help in this matter, barry
