Default Manufacturer Control(code 1305) Please Help....

I have a 01' 470 with 113k on the clock, so 1 of my coils went out, gave me a misfire cylinder code, so i ordered all 8 new ones...i replaced all 8 and now it gives me another code(Manufacturer Control, code 1305) but no misfire code though..i cleared the code, but the second the engine is started the CEL comes back instantly, same code(1305).. It would idle rough, so i try to give it a couple of revs. the second the rpm falls, it would die.. Then, I would try to start it and it would not start, Unless I apply a little pressure on the gas pedal.. I have made an appointment with the STEALERship on Tuesday to get my truck towed there....If anyone can help me out before i take it in, I appreciate it...

Thanks CL

That is an igniter circuit error, #2... Most likely, something is not connected properly, or, you have a problem with one of the new coils... used to be, the igniter was external to the coils, but with the newish coil on plug setups, I believe the igniter to be internal to the coil, thus not replaceable independently... (being as there are 8 codes, relating to igniter circuits 1-8, I can only imagine that it is per cylinder)...

So, get one of your original coils and replace that one and see what happens...

should be even numbers on the passenger side, starting at the front, 2-4-6-8, so the front passenger side one should be your culprit...

afaik, all lexus V's use this sequence...

obviously, alternatively, the driver side is 1-3-5-7

No problem man!

Just remember what I have said on this board many many times, "just because its new doesn't mean it works"

This is a perfect example of that!

Well, Im back again...Drove fine all day yesterday..Now today the Damn CEL came back so heres the codes it gives me 1300,1315,1325 and 1330..

1300, igniter #1
1315, igniter #2

I dont know what 1325 and 1330 is..Do anybody know?
I SOOO tired of this ongoing problem that i just wanna run it off a cliff!!!

I've replaced 3 ignition coils in the last 6 months and now i bought 8 new ones, so thats 1100$ of coils and its still giving me problems...WHY NO LOVE....

Can the old coil i put in the #2 cylinder make some of the new ones go bad?

Please Please Help

Those are igniter codes too...

The coils are independent, I can't imagine what could be causing that...

P1300 Igniter Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Or No. 1)
P1305 Igniter Circuit Malfunction, (Bank 2 Or No. 2)
P1310 Igniter Circuit Malfunction (No. 3)
P1315 Igniter Circuit Malfunction (No. 4)
P1320 Igniter Circuit Malfunction (No. 5)
P1325 Igniter Circuit Malfunction (No. 6)
P1330 Igniter Circuit Malfunction (No. 7)
P1335 CKP Sensor Circuit Malfunction During Engine Running
P1340 Igniter Circuit Malfunction (No. 8)

According to that list, you have a problem with 1, 4, 6 and 7...

No idea what would be causing that common issue??? Maybe someone that has experienced a phenomena like this can chime in... I wonder if they are the wrong ones? Are they OEM or aftermarket?

you're right about the codes though..It's all ignition coil codes...
These are aftermarket ones, but on the description its for a 2000 LandCruiser..I emailed them yesterday about that 1 bad coil, but no response yet..what else should i check or do?
