Default Time For A Tune Up. Need Some Advise

I have a 1995 LS with 180,00

I have oem cables, iridium plugs, oem caps and rotors. I will also be changing the AC Condenser. Is there anything else my mechanic should work on, look, clean or simply inspect while he is doing the work. Any advised would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

if you are changing the condenser, then you should either change the receiver/drier, or at least the desiccant packet inside of it...

I actually chaged the drier last summer. The AC was acting up and I changed it. It was not the problem. I was then informed that the conderser that needed to be changed. Thanks

any time the a/c system is opened up, it is exposed to moisture in the air around us - it would be a good idea to change it again...

moisture in the a/c system mixes with refrigerant and can actually corrode things from the inside out - expensive things like compressors and such...

not required, but as an a/c tech, I will not do any work that requires opening the system without replacing the drier on my own vehicles - customers have the option, and sometimes opt out of it... it's up to you in the end...

yah, your mechanic sucks...

more than likely he had to disconnect some stuff to get to the passenger side plugs, one part of that being the trac stuff... it's partially in the way, and he may have disconnected it and not reconnected it, or something along those lines...

hes aiight!!! I wouln't say his the best, but he has save me a lot of money in labor. However, he doesn't have a lot of experience dealing with Lexus cars. But I agree with you,, maybe he left something disconnected. Do you exactly where this sensor or cennection is ? Thanks
