If the screw is stuck in the treadwear pattern of the tire, the tire can be patched up and repaired by a tire shop. Otherwise, the tire cannot be repaired and can only be replaced (more cost-prohibitive solution).

Tire shops normally charge about $5 to $10 to pull out the screw and put a worm in it. Lexus could probably do the same thing, but not sure about the cost.

depending where u are... go to discount tire co or america's best tire co... we repair the flat free of charge and if its not repairable we will give u a prorated cost towards a new tire depending on how much life was on ur old tire

Or go to Pep Boys and buy a $1.99 repair kit and do it yourself.
A screw hole in the thread area is just what these kits are made for.

Bring it to the dealer. I know mine would just change out the tire for free simply because they strive for perfection and satisfaction. They never cease to amaze me as far as customer service goes.

If you don't take it to the dealership and you don't repair it yourself, I'd second the motion for DISCOUNT TIRE/AMERICA'S TIRE. Can't speak for all shops in the entire chain, but my local shop manager does the best he does to take care of things.
