Synthetic over normal oil.
I did a search so dont freak out on me.....jsut didnt find what i was looking for...... I have heard horror stories and good stories about switching to synthetic in SC400s.... I have heard that the synthetic can get into the seals and corrode them. I have also heard the opposite and it makes the car more quiet and smoothly. Personal expierences? do you think I should do synthetic? if ys why? if not why? thanks a ton!

If the seals are in good condition, it may not be a problem. If you are going to switch, do it relatively early in the life of the engine. Lots of various info to be read here and on other sites.
I'm happy with syn and my oil changes typically are at 8-10K intervals. Oil analysis of the Mobil 1 confirms that there is sufficient additive left and that's what I'm doing for mine.
Of course, YMMV.

there's SOOOOO many threads about this already... we're talking about millions of Post...
...o. what the heck.. one more wouldn't hurt...
i don't think 90K is really that late.. while you're getting your timing belt and water pump replaces.. mind as well go with the snytec .. and since it should last 5K.. try using some good oil filters like K&N ..

Mobile 1
I bought my Sc400 at 135000 miles. THe previous owner changed the oil regurlarly. I know because he gave me his maintenance records. I had everything that I could think of replaced.
Timing belt, water pump, Power Steering High pressure hose and all other external hoses.
THen I changed the oil to Mobile 1. (5 - 30).
I am now at 141000 miles and so far I am having no problems with leaks. Perhaps it takes longer to ruin the seals, but so far it is OK.
I have used Mobile 1 in all of my cars for 15 years and have never experienced a seal degredation.
Just me perhaps. Oh Yeah! I change the oil every 3000 miles.
