99' GS400 wheel bearing cost?
Hey folks...
My rear pass-side wheel bearing is shot at 45000 miles (which sucks ) and I'm being quoted $500 from a non-Dealer shop for the work which was stated as mostly labor. Does this seem in the neighborhood of reality, or am I about to get juked? Thanks.

Hmmm...not sure about the bearings on the GS...they might need to be pressed into place....on my old toyota I ran into a similar issue with the rear bearings being shot...ended up just buying the whole hub assembly which already contained the bearings...and it was a basic bolt on job...doing it myself took an hour longer than replacing the rotors....
