Gs300 Transmission Slipping

I bought a Certified 98 GS 300 with about 34k miles on it. I have noticed recently that the transmission slips when I am traveling at slow speeds and try to accelerate. The engine revs up to high RPM's but is applying no power. There is a few second delay before it shifts gears and applys power.
The dealer said they found no problems, but have had similar complaints from other owners of 98 GS.
Anyone had this same experience? Any suggestions?
Thanks

bjmGS300,
It could be the previous owner had modified the GS like a TC or a Differential in the car but neglected to remove it before returning it to the dealer. As you know, it's almost impossible to know a Diff is installed unless you take apart from the tranny. The dealer probably didn't find out and certified it anyways. That explains the slippage and no power during low rpm acceleration.
