Default 98 ES300 Blower Motor Wiring Help

I am bringing 12-volts directly to the blower motor. After working sporadically for the past two years it finally stopped blowing any air. I assume the Black / White Striped wire is the ground. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Much appreciated.

you can supply the 12v positive to the red wire and ground to the black/white wire with the blower motor connector disconnected. lexus uses a blower motor controller to control the speed of the motor so you have to be careful not to supply 12 with the connector still connected to the blower motor.

Thanks... whould you happen to know what number the fuse for the blower motor is? I looked in the user manual... there is nothing clearly labled for the "blower motor"

Thanks again!
