Opinion on Actron OBD II scanners?
Does anyone have any opinions on any of the Actron OBD II scanners? I'm looking for 1 for the RX 300. As you may all know the early RX's had some issues.
I'm looking either at the SUPER AutoScanner CP9145 (MSRP $299.99 USD): http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16150
Or the OBD II AutoScanner CP9135 (MSRP $179.99 USD): http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16151
Thanks.

I do not know of any issues that would crop up where you would need the scanner. That said, I have an Actron, the one listed at $179, because I do not have an Autozone where I live.
I would still recommend that if you are going to buy an Actron, likely get the cheapest one that can read the numbers and reset the check engine light (unless you would rather pull the EFI fuse or negative battery cable), and without a doubt by the service manual. You really cannot have one without the other.

Thanks guys.
mburnickas: The Snapon Micro Scan sounds like a very good alternative. That is if I can also find it at half the price.
Lexmex: I've had some problems with the CEL and I am really curious as to what is really wrong. There is no dealership anywhere close nor any Autozone or similar. That is why I need a scanner that can tell me what's wrong.
