ES Headlight Adjuster??
Had oil and antifreeze changed today. I wanted to have my headlights adjusted; mechanic said one adjuster screw did not work, that light aimed high. Indicaror was at top of scale
Anyone ever see this problem? Could it be that the adjuster is just screwed out of its threads, If so, how to fix.
IF not, how to fix? Thanks.
PS my Lexus is reminding more of the Chevy it replaced than my wife's Camry that I hoped it would be like. Dead CD changer, dead power window switch, broken light adjuster, replace all disks and pads, replace CV joints. Shocks/struts need replaced.
All things considered, at 117,000 miles it gets a B+ at best for reliability. Newer Camry and Accord models are both WAY faster, and starting to look very good as a replacement.

Sounds like you got one that had been destroyed. Im running close to 150k and ive replaced 3 things. Alternator(my fault), CV boot, and bulbs. And did i hear you right that youve found hondas to be faster? interesting. Well if speed is your thing you should have gotten an sc400 not an es300. But still havent found anything but a supercharged thunderbird and an Lincoln LS that were faster. 2 funny! btw you should just adjust the headlights yourself.

That's a great PDF!
I have over 140K miles on my ES 300, I've noticed that the beam gauges for both the horizontal and veritcal directions are wrong. Does anyone else have this problem?
This may be a continuation of my problem but after I leveled my headlights for low beams, my highbeam lights are crooked (i.e. one side is higher than the other). Does anyone else have this problem?
