engine vibration

Interesting, I did my timing belt and water pump at 140k on my 1991. After that I replace the EGR modulator, starter, egr pipe. I get some vibration around 70 mph. I'm pretty sure my vibration is from the lower engine mount (tranny mount). If your vibration was a vacuum leak, it would be a pretty rough vibration depending on the leak. Then after awhile your car should flash a check engine, I think it would. But if anything, the timing belt service should make your car run better. The flip side is, since the car is somewhat old, whenever you open something up, you end up breaking something else, and the mechanic wont say anything about it. At least from what I've seen in all my experiences in mechanic shops.
