Default Difference between Nippon and Denso oil filters

I've been online searching for alternatives for my oil filters. I have found two different "oem" oil filters. Now I know the 90915-20004 Nippondenso filter from toyota is the one I want. But I keep finding either a NIPPON filter or a DENSO filter. The Denso is more expensive but the NIPPON has the same part number.

Any ideas?

If you change your oil every 3500 miles it does not matter what filter you use, as long as you change it when you change the oil.............

Nippon is a generic Japanese filter, Beck/Arnley sells Nippons under their name. Denso is the OE filter. The 90915-20004 is hard to dind now, since Toyota is now phasing in the Thai-made YZZD3, but it wouldn't hurt to call all the Toyota/Lexus dealers to ask if they have any 20004s on the back room shelves, my neighborhood dealer had two, i bought them all.
