I was hoping one of the techs might be able to answer this. I noticed a weird sound coming from my front end while coming into turns slowly, kind of like a creaky door opening. I took it to lexus and just as I thought, a blown strut and bushing need replacing. My car has 70k on it and although the roads in chicago are crap, I thouht this seemed kind of early for stuff like this to occurr.
Thank god it was covered under CPO warranty because it is going to be over $800 for the repair.

hmm, just got my car back, they replaced right side strut, strut mount, and swaybar bushings. Guess what, it still makes the same damn noise! What could this be, it is really annoying. I have a better analogy that some of you may better relate to. It sounds like a really cheap mattress that creakes as you are jumping up and down (or performing any other activities for that matter). Thanks for the help

Check the brake pads
I don't know if it's going to help but here goes. I had a same problem as you do. At first I thought it was suspension problem. But it turned out to be the brake pads. The weird thing was, when I brake during straight line, it did't creak. But when I brake while turning, it creaked. So replaced the pads and problem solved.

My 95 ls400 had the same problem, my mechanic replaced one of the front "Link Assembly for front Stablizer" Parts no. 4881050011. The noice is now gone. Shop around first, Parts.com costs $50's, my area dearlers want $60's to $90's for it. Hope it can solve your problem.
