Awesome! Getting that 60k service worked in is worth $1,000 or so. It sounds like you picked the best one based on condition- which is wise.
IMHO, it would be wise to get all-weather mats if yours doesn't have them already.
As far as deferring the maintenance on the other one, It's not a huge deal- The pvs owner probably didn't want to be out $1,300 after smelling that new car smell... As long as the price is withina couple grand, the CPO is the way to go.

I bought the digital / 3d weathertech ones that were MB branded in my GL450 and they were awesome. Had the raised edges, etc. This car has the light interior and came with gray factory carpet mats. The dealership said that they get questions on that all the time but that they were supposed to match the trim - in essence the dash. Does that sound right? At least they wont show as much dirt.
