2011 or by the 4LX (2018) for a hybrid. Probably by then they will use the 600h engine for it.
Plus the LX570 the mpg is like 14 (combined) and the CO2 (is probably below 377 g / km)
If there was a LX hybrid it probably be like 219-250 g/km for the CO2, it be one of the cleanest large SUVs on the market. Nothing would come close to it. Plus it probably average 21 mpg.
Honestly how many SUVs do you know that weigh about 5000 pounds with 430+ hp that can get 21 mpg and pollute like a VW Jetta. (Lexus LX Hybrid) The LX hybrid could probably sell for like $80k USD.

Yep. I remember when the RX400h first came out, Lexus said something about not being able to drive on sand as it would mess up the electronics or something.
Would be cool to see this. If they can get it to work in a Tundra, then I think they should definitely try it with the LX.

Yes, the Current LX/LC100 is capable. But the LC80 was even more so, considerably. I have/had both. It is not hard to see that the 570 will continue to improve in the 'on-the-road', gradually and slowly giving up the 'off-road' part of it.
