Problem #2
06 L470 - 145K miles.
I've been having a rubbing noise coming from the left front when making right hand turns. While I had the left front wheel off I inspected everything. There were no foriegn objects. I tugged onthe CV joint and it seems solid. The boots are whole though I have the grease seep issue.at the small end of the boot. I moved the spindle to check the tie rod ends and they seemed ok, though the wheel was off the ground. the only 8bad8 think i saw was the hydraulic cylinder looks like it may have a very slight seep. Its not wet" but it has discoloration that looks like its got some level of seeping - I'm sure the dirt is absorbing whatever seeps, but again, its not wet at all. The upper control arms were replaced15-20K miles ago.
The noise is really discipatuing like its something rubbing but there is nothing there rubbing that I can see. No marks on anything that I can see.
