I am not sure if this trick will work on your LX, but on my RX300 there is a cable beneath where the battery sits, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ng-lights.html
Disconnecting that in mine causes the lights to go out, but no other apparent issues. Been running that for several years now.

There's a wire underneath the dash connected to the main DRL relay, cut that(or put on a switch for selectivity) and DRLs turn off. You'll have to look in the electronic wiring diagram for your specific year to find that wire.
