I recently posted here reporting of my successful install of the Vaistech unit in my LX. Well I am sad to say that my module has slowly gone downhill and started skipping more and becoming confused more often. Then my Nav went south. It could no longer pick up a GPS signal and therefore could not determine where I actually was. I discovered this when driving on a main highway and the Nav said I was driving through a local lake!

Long story short, I discovered that upon disconnecting the Vaistech unit my signal would come back and the Nav would work fine. So I disconnected the unit and contacted Vaistech about this. Eugene was more than happy to help me and is giving me a 100% refund. He also mentioned that this was a "manufacturing defect" and this may have also caused the skipping problems. If any of you are facing/having issues like above, you may want to contact them. They sure took care of me and provided great customer service!

Well I can't really now...lol. I sold the LX! I was having a vibration issue that the dealership couldn't fix and turns out to be a characteristic of all LXs. After driving others and one today I just decided this vehicle was not for me. I set my standards too high and expected perfection and was let down. But its all good now!
