Smile Adding Monitor to Stock Nav/DVD player

Hi All,

Have anyone done or know if i could add a couple of aftermarket monitors (either headrest or overhead) to the stock DVD player of my 01 LX470? I have bypassed the e-brake to watch dvd on the stock Nav monitor but want to add more monitors. Does anyone know if there is a "Video Output" feature available from the stock DVD player under the center console? Any insight will greatly be appreciated.

Happy Motoring!

Default headrest monitors

how did the bypass go.

I purchased 2 headrest monitors from ebay and play them on a portable dvd player. I would like to have all three use the installed DVD player. I have oprdered a Lexus LX470 wriign CD manual to see just exactly what I need to do to bypass, as well as split out the video to the headrests. let me know if you find out your answer and I will see what the CD says as far as VID output. gnash4@***.net
