2016 Purchase Price
My family have been in a search for a nice Suv that fit 4 of us comfortably ,and some times 7-8 people, so we've decide to get the new LX, our choice color is Starfire pearl with Cabernet interior , recently got quoted at 2% discount on a 97410$ MSRP, I have someone who work in the car business told me to find out how much are people getting discount for ? Please comment with your purchase price and your Vehicle MSRP . Thanks for your help !

in my area, maybe 1-2 grand off msrp right now. But looks like inventory building. Buyers more informed now than ever, and you would have to be pretty desperate to not wait for a better deal later in the model year.

Negotiate with internet department online and search in wider area than your city. Never paid more than $1000 over invoice on new arrivals (not common luxury cars) and always under invoice 3-4 months in. Bought one of the first 16 LC arrivals at $1000 over invoice while dealers barely still discount anything. 2% off is nothing.

Be happy. Give an extra couple of weeks of wider area search and negotiations and you will get much better discount. Negotiate with internet dept without walking to a dealer is the way to go. I have decided on LC which is not getting discounted much either. With two days going back and forward checking with many dealerships, I have found one 150 miles away willing to sell for 1000 over invoice. Remember that was still when there were no more than 10 for sale in whole southeast region. Remember car invoice is not truly bottom for a dealer. They still get additional 3% back at the end of the year for each car sold that is why you see huge sales before end of the year. Try to buy one 2 days before year closing and you will see some crazy pricing offered just so you take delivery that day. I have considered as well the LX and got much better price from local dealer with just one e-mail, but at the end couldn't live with the front and went for LC. Good Luck!

My brother was offered $1,500 off MSRP two weeks ago. He didn't end up buying it. Yet. Lol.

I'm not sure if it's allowed in this forum to mention dealer's name.
They are easy to deal with price wise.

Newbie here.... but long time Lexus owner (06 GX470 - wife, 08 GS350 - mine). Looking to buy the new 16 LX 570. Have made a few trips to the 2 dealerships here in Austin but it looks like better/more aggressive pricing in Dallas/Houston.
Saw earlier (not sure if it was in this thread or another) - that someone got 6K off MSRP of 97k.... Is that true?
What's should I be paying? One dealier in Houston quoted me $3k off
