Default 2009 LX570 Failures Problems Thus Far...

After finally getting my LX back after nearly two weeks at the stealership, I wanted to take the pleasure of listing out the issues I've had thus far. This is more of an informal heads up as to what types of issues you may have once your LX gets up there in mileage (100k >+). Not sure if these issues are common...

Current odometer 113k.
  • Fuel Sending Unit
  • Fuel Pump (in lieu of Fuel Sending Unit)
  • Power Steering Rack Leaking Fluid
  • Water Pump Leaking Coolant
  • Passenger front seatbelt air bag sensor
  • Right manifold exhaust leak
  • Loose sideview mirrors on highway

Repair bill was about 4800 including parts/labor.

$4,800? You got off light- She'll be good to go until 250k.

Of course, the mirror and w/p should have been partially covered because they're known issues.

They covered the water pump as well. Just not the loose mirror issue. Not to worry as that part was super cheap. They mentioned the front passenger strut was seeping but I chose not to replace that at the time.

Almost two years later and 138k miles, the only issue I've had is a TPMS sensor that occasionally stops signaling.
