Auto HVAC does not hold after restart
I've noticed and the wife is complaining about the "Auto" portion of the HVAC system. When you start the LX the "Auto" button is lit up and says 75 degrees in the temp section. After about 30 seconds it turns itself completely off. I can reset it to desired temp and it works fine until the next time I restart the truck.
The same process holds for the manual setting as well.
Killing off the HVAC is not an option that I can find in the manual or in the preferred settings that only Lexus can handle.

Sounds like time to take it to the dealer.

Ok, I've done some experimenting both on auto and on manual settings.
If you restart the truck after a few hours it takes off on where you left it. Both auto and manual mode.
If you restart the next morning or after several hours, the HVAC is completely off and you have to set it where you want it.
It works fine when in auto or manual mode it's just keeping it in the selected mode if it sets for more than a few hours or overnight.

Sounds like there is a dealer accessed setting that can toggle this feature.
We're they able to switch it back to remember the settings on startup?
