I am impressed with new LX
I was expecting my 2013 LX to be just like the 2011 I owned except for a few things like the HID and new grill, etc.
What a pleasant surprise that I find Lexus updated the telematics. Just syncing my iPhone 5 to the new system was way better with the phone book syncing very quickly. It used to be much slower in the 2010 and 2011 units. Even the Nav system works better for me.
Anyway, I am VERY glad to be back!

Congratulations on getting the 2013 LX 570. I'll be in the market soon for the 2014 GX 460.

They are pretty amazing vehicles. The miles pile on quickly as it gets used for everything & of course is never down for anything other than scheduled service, I'm worried they are going to go nanny state specs @ some point
& screw up something that's been great, @ least for me since 1986 my first LC.

However, with the 3rd row seats down there is considerable cargo space, plus several pleasant surprises:
1. The higher cargo floor is accessible through the operable rear hatch. Nothing is out of reach unless it has slid forward against the back of the second row seats. We load our smaller items into a cargo net to keep them in place.
2. The second row seats can slide forward another 6", which adds that much space to the cargo area. On a recent road trip that made enough space for an extra row of luggage, including an oversized wine shipment case:

3. The rear hatch is large enough to unload a case of wine, although it requires considerable upper body strength!
Yes, I own a GX, but would own an LX if our garage was large enough. The GX is a tight fit, but doable ... the LX isn't.

As far as space in the rear it has changed compared to the 1GX. The 2GX has unremovable seats that fold flat but overall I think the space in the rear is sufficient. I understand it's not a Ford Excursion or a Chevrolet Suburban...

Three colors I would consider would be Knights Amor Pearl, Fire Agate Pearl or Starfire Pearl. I'm leaning towards Fire Agate Pearl but my girlfriend most likely would chose Knights Amor Pearl. We'll see if there will be new colors for 2014.

Storage has never been an issue for me as it is only me and one other (sometimes)
