When is the 2013 Lexus LX570 going to be available for order?
I was planning to buy a SUV, so after test driving an Escalde, GL550,and a '11 LX570, I decided it had to be the LX but now I want to know when I can order a 2013 LX?

For starters, did you ask the dealership where you test drove the 2011 model?
Given how quiet this particular forum is, never mind that it hasn't even been 24 hours since your original posting, a dealership would seem like your best source. Given that the 2013 model is already on Lexus' website and pricing is available, I would imagine you could order one right about now.

Anyway, in addition to what I was saying regarding pricing, etc., everywhere I've looked shows the LX arriving this winter, so that means it should be landing in the next month or so. That's also what I heard at my local dealership, though it was in passing, so it was not a precise estimate.
I would just email sales managers in your area to get the scoop. As I said, I am almost positive you could put a deposit on one as we speak. You could even request quotes through lexus.com, since it's already available on there (unless - as usual- the Lexus IT people updated the front end of the website with the 2013 but not the back end under "Build your LX").
Edit/Addendum: Indeed, the "Build your LX" still shows 2011. I swear that Honda had better customer websites 10 years ago than Lexus has today... but that's neither here, nor there...

If you do a true special order then you are looking at approx 90 days. if your dealer does a locate or finds a vehicle that is normally built for there region then it could only take about 2-3 wks.

Thanks for the information MENDELJR.
So today I went to the Lexus dealer, and talked to the S.M himself, and he said the particular salesman and the rest of the sales team was informed a month ago while the were having a briefing on the newly released models. I didn't want to be harsh on the guy so I asked the S.M. if he was there on the day of the briefing, and he said he was there. So I just laughed it off and said its okay everybody forgets things...
I also test drove the '11 LX again but this time with the S.M. and he was saying how he drives one and will be updating soon too. He went over that crawl control was updated, NAV interface was changed, and couple other electronics, basically he told everything that was that wasn't obvious .
