Default Suspension and ride problems

I had some repair work on my 2009's front end from a light collision. There was damage to the front sheet metal and the left wheel took a little hit in the tire. It didn't blow out the tire, but it took a chunk out of it. After the body repairs and the delivery I noticed that going down the freeway, the vehicle seemed to rock side to side, instead of forward and backwards. This is, however, a very slight sway, but enough to make me seasick over a long trip.

I measured the wheelbase and it showed to be about 1/2" shorter on the drivers' side than the passenger side. This was the same side that had the damage. The body shop manager at the dealer said that the alignment was "within the range of the specs". He also told me that that the wheelbase difference was to allow for the crown in the roads. With my experience around vehicles and alignments and body/frame repair, I have never heard of this. When we did alignments back in high school, we adjusted the caster to allow for crowned roads, but never a wheelbase.

Could anyone give me some help in figuring this out or how to try to convince the guy that wheelbase should be the same on both sides?

Who did your repairs? A lexus dealer or non lexus certified repair place?

a while back i had a front end collision on my honda prelude, when i got the car back it swayed side to side also. felt like a boat! i knew something was wrong. Took to a car performance shop and found out the sway bar end links was broken from the accident. changed it out and was smooth after that. so you might want to check out all suspension parts again.

I have a 2008 lx570 and have been having this problem since we purchased the vehicle. The passenger side is about 1/2"-1" higher than the driver's side and depending upon the speed, it pulls to the right or the left and feels as though it is rocking while driving. Have had Lexus look at several times and they say it is road crowning, but it does not matter which lane I am in, it still pulls to the same direction. Also, sometimes at a stop, the back lowers and the car is tilted forward.
