Also, at the time that the truck was released I remember reading that there were going to be 18" 6 spoke wheels as standard, and the 10 Spoke 20"s would be an option.
Looks now as if the 18"s have been dropped, and the 20"s are standard. Too bad, because I think they're HIDEOUS.

Also I'd prefer having the lower cladding as on the LX470, as I think it looks appropriately rugged for an SUV, plus gives ding protection.

The color-chooser has a "spinner" type control that lets you view from any angle. I still hate the rear end. Plus the headlights, while not ugly, are imho a step backward from the distinctive quad headlights of the LX470.

They must have just put that up cuz I checked before lunch and it was still the '07
My biggest dissappoinment is the rear departure angle, a paltry 20 degrees in normal mode and only 23 even in the high mode. In contrast, the GX is 25 degrees in normal mode and 29 in high mode. That thing is gonna drag it's *** if someone ever takes it off-road. This would be acceptable IMO on an Escalade or Navigator, but not the TLC or LX

Not to go nuts and post all over this thread, but two cool options I noticed on the truck:
1) Remote Start- thankfully they offer this as an option and its no longer necessary to go aftermarket
2) Glass Breakage Sensor- this should really be standard on every Lexus as part of the security system, but at least we're getting there.

Those pictures has changed my mind , they look terrific.
I am leaning toward the Noble Spinel Mica with the Grey interior, plus the
Mark Levinson , the Comfort Climate Front Seats and the Intuitive Parking with Monitor.

This is definitely going to be my next car in about 3 years.
I love how it looks but since I have to wait 3 years to buy a car, I might as well wait for the re-designed model.
Interior is WOW, Exterior is beautiful as well. I like this more than the old body for sure
