Help: 1997 LX450 Water in the Oil but not the other way.
I have a 1997 LX450 ( Toyota motor). i have oil in my water but not water in my oil. the motor has 150k on it.
The oils cooler has been changed and the system flushed. after running about 30 minutes it will get about 1 inch of oil in the top of the radiator.
The motor Runs fine with no indication of a blown head gasket or fluids out of the exhaust.
Has anyone seen this type of failure before?
Any recommendations of a good supplier for a re-manufactured head and / long block. if the need arises, may be cheaper in the long run than trouble shooting and fixing only to have another issue pop up later.
Any help would be appreciated.

Almost certainly a blown head gasket. I would just get the head gasket replaced. If you are consuming oil or have high miles you can have the valve seals done at the same time while the head is off. There isn't a real need to do a rebuild as just a PM though.
